What the store carries

• Chimneys. Suction ratings, ducted and ductless options, filter types and auto-clean models. Worth seeing in person: suction figures mean little on paper, and the difference between a baffle filter and an auto-clean collector is easier to understand standing in front of both. • Hobs. Sized to match the chimney above them – a 60 cm hob wants a 60 cm chimney, a larger hob a 90 cm. Getting the pair right at the point of purchase saves a compromise later.
• Water purifiers. RO, UV and UF units. Which you need depends on your supply rather than the price, so bring what you know about your water – municipal, borewell or tanker changes the recommendation. See water purifiers.
• Modular kitchen enquiries. Start one in person: talk through your room, the finishes and roughly what you want to spend, and we will arrange the measurement visit from there.

Buying an appliance? Bring this

• For a chimney: the width of your hob, and where the nearest exterior wall is relative to it. The duct route decides the suction you will actually get, and it is the thing most often worked out too late.
• For a water purifier: whether you are on municipal supply, a borewell or tanker deliveries, and where the inlet, drain and a power point are in the kitchen.
• For a hob: the counter cut-out size if you are replacing one, and the number of burners you actually use.

You can begin the process here rather than over the phone, which is easier if you would rather show someone photographs of the room and talk it through. What follows is handled by our Kolkata team:

1. A measurement visit is arranged for a date that suits you. A designer measures every wall, the ceiling height and the position of the door, window, gas point, water inlet and drain.
2. You get a 3D design and an itemised written estimate – your actual room, with real finishes applied, priced line by line. Revisions are free.
3. Your units are factory-made to the measured drawing while your existing kitchen stays in use.
4. Installation is scheduled and the finished units are fitted, levelled and adjusted, then handed over with the 10-year written warranty.

Service and AMC

Appliance service, spare parts and chimney annual maintenance contracts can be arranged through the store and the Kutchina service network. Our Kolkata locations

The full modular kitchen displays, the complete finish library and the hardware you can operate are at our Kolkata showroom, open Monday to Sunday, 9am to 9pm. If you are choosing finishes for a whole kitchen, that trip is worth making.
